However, when you have these odds stacked in your corner and only trade LONG positions during this time frame, your odds are enhanced dramatically. This logic has many supporting factors. Some of which include the start of the fiscal year for many businesses (1 0ctober) when their accounting allows for reallocating assets and investments. While other factors often include the time of the year most consumers spend big bucks (holiday season/Christmas time).
